SAVE LIBRARY FUNDING

Hi All,

Below is a message from the California Library Association (CLA). Please share with all of your contacts!

The Assembly Committee will meet to discuss the proposed cuts to public library funding on Monday, February 7. When we called the Senate Committee members, it made an impact, according to the CLA lobbyist, so please call rf FAX the following members of the Assembly or Senate (again) or both on or before the 7th.  I’m very grateful for all of the Placer County Friends and Library supporters. Thank you.

Our grand opening party was a huge success.  Here are some pictures for those of you who weren't able to attend.  Mayor George Magnuson did the official ribbon cutting and Jim Trimble presented a check for $1,000 from Rocklin Elementary.  Entertainment included the Fred Morgan Combo, The Magic Family of Clowns and face painting.
